What YOU say about the Camel
"I am the new owner of The Museum and completed the purchase very early in January 2008. Please believe me when I say I am our harshest critic. That said I truly believe the food and service are the best The Museum has ever known. The recent reviews speak for themselves"
(David Sax - The Museum, Dorset, UK)

"I completely agree with you here. I stayed in this hotel in 2002 and was robbed in the lobby whilst I was checking in ! I was so traumatised by this at the time. I was lucky that I did not have any prized possessions in my handbag...."
(anon)
Rome - Hotel Eden
"I went to joseph léscales and we orderd moule frite a simpel dish mussels and french fries, i found the mussels were very small ( i am dutch and used to the big ones from zeeland in holland) and they where infested with small crabs.i'm not complaining becouse the dish was inexpensive ( 14 euro) and a great ambiance. the joint is fine but they should check the food before it goes out of the kitchen.

(Stan - Holland)
St Tropez - Joseph L'Escale
"This article deserves 3 piles of poo. Lan doesn't have any 747, so all of this is a lie."
"Can you please explain me why did you write (to be avoided) after Maltese wine in Wigi's review?"
(Brendon - Malta)
Malta - Wigi's
"For those who still believe that Maltese wines are to be avoided, it is apparent that they last tried them back in the 80s. Get with the program, so called travelling reviewer."
(Francoise - Malta)
Malta - Wigi's
"By far the worst, pig headed and arrogant review I have ever wasted my time reading."
(Kellie Little - USA)
New York - Restaurant Gordon Ramsay
"It's good to see a travel site encouraging hotels to give to their customers instead of just grabbing fat commissions for themselves. I hope more will follow Hotel Pastis and give back to the people spending the money."
(Patrick - Dublin)
St Tropez - Hotel Pastis
"I booked Awana by email and ordered a birthday cake for my father, “You should have phoned to ask for the cake”, said a waitress when I asked why it hadn’t arrived. Their website markets Awana as a fine dining experience. If I’d wanted good food but inattentive service I would have gone to Chinatown."
(Kathryn - UK)
London - Awana
"just read your post on the Oberoi Rajvilas. Lets get a few things straight....the hotel is NOT based on the Amber fort, but is a replica of the Naila fort which is a few miles east of the hotel and is also the private residence of the chairman of the company. You need a keen and well educated eye to appreciate the blend of Rajput Mugal and British arcitecture spread all across the hotels!!!
(Prateek Kackar - India)
Rajvilas - Jaipur
What a tantrum! You really did throw all your toys out the pram! The Camel shows his true colours at last."
(Stefan - Greece)
Nobu - Mykonos
"Its about time someone let rip about the Gramercy Park Hotel. Does anyone ever go there twice? Love the bit about Gary Oldman's boudoir in True Romance.
(Nick - Hong Kong)
New York - Gramercy Park Hotel
"I agree about Cecconi's in West Hollywood. Okay food, but what atmosphere! So many joints close early it's great to still be able to eat at 2am."
(Grant - USA)
LA - Cecconi's
"I think you are a spoilt fuss pot. I stayed at the Dragonara, (Malta) about 6 years ago. It was very pleasant. You also complain about the Hilton. We really enjoyed it."
(Semsen - USA)
Malta - Westin Dragonara
“My wife and I have visited this wonderful place many times. I agree with Frank’s comments, so much so that I’m inspired to book a weekend in June. Did you know that this was Dirk Bogarde's regular haunt and in fact he helped build the swimming pool?”
(Mike & Janice – UK)
St Paul de Vence - La Colombe D’Or
“Harry Cipriani is outrageous. Do you think they bully everyone into ordering a $20 Bellini as a diner contribution to reimbursing their $10m tax fine?"
(Ed – USA)
New York – Harry Cipriani
“Moro sells cookbooks by the lorry load (as you put it) because it is excellent and inspired. How up yourself are you? Stop being a confused camel and get down off your perch.”
(Caro – UK)
London – Moro
“I was skeptical when you warned against the Four Seasons in Sydney. Fortunately we took your advice and stayed at The Observatory. We popped in to the Four Seasons. It was certainly not up to the standard we have come to appreciate and trust from this hotel group”
(Jim – USA)
Sydney – The Four Seasons Hotel
“Thank you for recommending Comme Ca. The food was excellent as you said it would be, and the service first class. No wonder it was so busy.”
(Margo – Canada)
Los Angeles – Comme Ca
“How dare you! The Raj Palace is a beautiful hotel with fabulous rooms. We had a wonderful stay there and it is much better value than the stuffy Rambagh Palace which also has coach tours.”
(Patrice – France)
Jaipur – Raj Palace
“My wife and I have very fond memories of Pangkor Laut. I can’t believe it has gone downhill so badly. We were thinking of going back for our anniversary."
(J & B – Australia)

(Frank says - Hans is correct. The plane was actually a Boeing 767. The rest of the review is, however, accurate.)
