Kuala Lumpur - Kampachi

Spring 2009
Frank's view
Quality food, excellent value

The 6th Floor of the huge Pavilion Shopping Mall hosts a few good restaurants, one of which is Kampachi.

One of the extraordinary features of KL is how inexpensive it is to eat out.

My lunchtime ‘Tokubetsu Bento’ box was packed full with sashimi, black cod and various tempura.  Anywhere else in the world, it would probably have cost $50. At 65RM ($18) it was just about the most expensive item on Kampachi’s menu.

The quality of the food was excellent.

If you happen to be in KL and fancy some Japanese food, give it a go.
