Mumbai - Dome

Spring 2008
Frank's view
'worth including in an evening trawl of Mumbai'

On the 8th floor, rooftop, of the Intercontinental Hotel, sits Dome.

This open air bar is ‘sophisticated chic' with large white sofas and chairs, and has great views down the seafront.  The music is very ‘Nikki Beach’.

Drinks are on the expensive side for Mumbai.  An excellent Mojita was rps475, spirits rps325 and a selection of wine by the glass ranging from rps600 to rps800.

The food isn’t particularly cheap either.

Spiced prawns were rps795 and tandoori chicken nuggets, rps595.

Unlike Shiro, which made this camel very arsy, Dome is one of the better bars in Mumbai and worth a visit.
